Squirt House League games start on Monday October 23rd! We are really excited to get the season started!

All games will be at Thayer (front rink) unless otherwise noted.  There are 4 house teams this year, Harvard, Yale, Providence, and Maine.  Teams will be selected and posted by Tuesday night. 

Please read the following important information about the game format and player/parent expectations this season.

• All games will be half ice.  Each team will be split into a major and a minor group.  They will play at the same time, but on different halves of the ice.  For example, if Harvard is playing Yale, Harvard will be split into 2 teams and Yale will be also split into two teams.  Harvard minor will play Yale minor on one half of the ice and Harvard major will play Yale major on the other half of the ice.  The score from both games will be combined to determine the winner.
• In order to start a game each team needs to have goalies.  In order to ensure we have adequate goalie coverage each player will be required to play net.  Goalies will be assigned by each coach before games begin. We recognize that not all players enjoy goalie, but this is an opportunity to teach young players that being part of a team means doing things they don't like doing.
• Also, we need to have parents help run the clock and keep score.  This is very simple and we will make sure that everyone has instructions before each game begins. The four head coaches will assign clock parents for each game.
• Since each game is half ice, we need to set up boards to divide the ice before the first game, and break them down after the second game.  the more help we have setting up and breaking down the easier it is.
